This Radiology careers evening will give you an insight into life as a radiologist. You will hear about the wide array of diagnostic and interventional techniques Clinical Radiology has to offer. We will also explore the training structure and give you some tips for building a successful application to radiology ST1.

Working the Field with Medicins Sans Frontieres


About our speaker:

Dr Damien Brown is an Australian doctor with extensive experience working with the MSF. His interest in global health has led him to participate in numerous MSF campaigns, including Angola, Mozambique and South Sudan. More recently, he has been based in Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory of Australia. Dr Brown has recently published a book about his experiences working in the field, entitled 'Band Aid for a Broken Leg: Being a Doctor with No Borders, and Other Ways to Stay Single'. He is currently based in London, where he is completing a Masters of International Health.

If you have ever wondered about working overseas, in the field, or with humanitarian organisations, this is the talk for you!
